Scheduling software by industry

Cartoply is scheduling software for businesses whose appointments have an address attached. Customers book online, answer the intake questions you set, and pay a deposit if you require one — then the booking is routed automatically to the person who covers that territory, checked against their live calendar. It fits home service trades, mobile businesses that bring the shop to the customer, recurring cleaning services, and at-home health and professional services.

Scheduling software, by industry

The mechanics are the same everywhere — online booking, deposits, live calendars, territory routing. What changes is the intake questions, the appointment types, and what a wasted drive costs you. Pick your industry to see how it is set up.

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of businesses is Cartoply built for?

Cartoply is built for any business where the appointment has an address attached — someone has to drive somewhere, and which employee goes matters. That covers the classic home service trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscaping, pest control, solar, pool service, painting, garage doors, appliance repair), mobile businesses that bring the shop to the customer (mobile dog grooming, mobile mechanics, mobile detailing, locksmiths, junk removal), recurring cleaning and exterior services (house cleaning, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, pressure washing), and at-home health and professional services (mobile IV therapy, mobile phlebotomy, mobile notaries, home inspection). It also handles non-field scheduling for sales teams, recruiters, therapists, and coaches.

What makes scheduling software for mobile businesses different from a normal booking link?

A generic booking link knows when you are free. It does not know where you are. For a mobile business, the two questions are inseparable: a 2 PM slot forty minutes across town is not really open if your 1 PM job is on the other side of the city. Cartoply asks for the customer address at booking, resolves it against the service territories you draw on a map, and shows only the availability of the person who covers that area — so bookings cluster into the zone that tech or groomer is already driving instead of scattering across the metro.

Does Cartoply work if I am a one-person mobile business?

Yes, and it is often where it pays off fastest. A solo mobile groomer, mechanic, notary, or detailer is also the dispatcher, the estimator, and the person answering the phone mid-job. A booking page that takes the deposit, captures the details you need (breed and coat condition, year/make/model, document type, square footage), and enforces your own travel radius replaces most of that phone time. Start on the free plan and add seats only when you add vans.

Can I collect a deposit before an appointment confirms?

Yes. Attach a price to any appointment type and connect Stripe or PayPal. Cartoply authorizes the payment first, secures the slot, and only then captures — so a customer who loses a race for the same slot is never charged. For mobile businesses where every job is a drive, a paid deposit is the single most effective no-show filter: the customer who has paid is home.

What if my industry is not listed?

The underlying model is generic: appointment types with their own duration, buffers, intake questions, and price; availability drawn from live Google Calendar or Outlook; territories drawn on a map; and routing rules that pick who gets the booking. If your business sends people to addresses on a schedule, it fits — the industry pages just pre-describe the setup for common cases. Reach out and we will map your workflow onto it.

Don't see your industry?

It probably still fits.

If your business sends people to addresses on a schedule, Cartoply handles the booking. Start free and configure your own appointment types, or tell us your workflow and we'll map it out with you.
